Discovering Redeemer for Kids & Students
Redeemer Kids and Redeemer Students are partnering together to offer a class for 4th-8th graders* interested in exploring the next step in their faith. On Sunday, October 20, we'll meet from 12:30-3 pm to take a closer look at the Gospel, the sacraments, the church, and what it means to be a member at Redeemer. Interviews will be scheduled for those interested in taking communion after the class. Lunch and snacks are provided.
All participants must attend the class with at least one parent or guardian.
*If you have a child/student outside of this age range who is interested in this process, please contact Emily. We will likely recommend that older students attend Discovering Redeemer.
Community Easter Egg Hunt with Redeemer Kids
Redeemer Kids is hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt for our friends and neighbors at MLK Park on Saturday, March 30 at 10 a m. Bring a bag or basket and meet us at the MLK Park pavilion. We'll have coffee and donuts, split into age groups, search for eggs, and have time to play on the playground with friends afterwards.
You can help us show hospitality and love to the kids in our community by purchasing plastic Easter eggs and/or individually packaged fun-size candy that fit inside. Drop off your donations on Sunday mornings in the labeled tubs near each entrance and Redeemer Kids check-in stations February 25-March 17. You can also use the Amazon Wishlist below to have your donations sent straight to the church.
If you'd like to volunteer to help with the event, please e-mail emily@redeemindy.org.

Kid's Club: Quest
Kid's Club is Redeemer's camp-like version of Vacation Bible School. Throughout the evening Monday-Thursday, preschool and elementary children will rotate through stations of crafts, games, Bible Story, dinner, and large group with their leaders and same-aged peers. We'll end the week with a special Friday night dinner and celebration at Spades Park for everyone (parents, volunteers, and church family included) to enjoy.
When is Kid's Club? June 5-8 from 5-7 p.m. at Redeemer and June 9 from 5-7 pm at Spades Park for our Friday Night Celebration.
Who is Kid's Club for? Children who turn 4 by June 1 through next school year's rising fifth graders are welcome to join us as campers at Kid's Club.
But Kid's Club isn’t just for kids! We’d love for you to consider volunteering in one of the many areas we have a need. You can spend time building relationships with one age group of kids, help organize and serve dinner, throw water balloons with the games team, help set up or tear down, or encourage creativity by helping with crafts. Please sign-up as a Student Leader if you are a rising 6th-12th grader or as an Adult Volunteer if you are any other age.
Childcare is offered for the children of volunteers ages 0-3 only. 2-3 year-olds will also have a story, craft, and game related to this year's content in their classroom each night.
Community Easter Egg Hunt with Redeemer Kids
Redeemer Kids will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt for our friends and neighbors at MLK Park on Saturday, April 8 at 10 am. We hope your family can join us and think it's a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors who don't have a church home. We'll start with coffee and donuts under the pavilion before splitting into age groups to hunt for eggs. Sign up here so we'll know how many eggs to prepare and hide.
You can help us show hospitality and love to the kids in our community by purchasing individually packaged fun-size candy that fit inside of Easter eggs. Drop off your donations on Sunday mornings in the labeled tubs near each entrance and Redeemer Kids check-in stations every Sunday until April 2.
If you'd like to volunteer to help with the event, e-mail emily@redeemindy.org.
