Easter Brunch
SERVICES AT 8, 9:30, & 11 AM
BRUNCH WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN 8:45 AM AND 12 PM
Get ready for this year’s Easter Brunch. Easter is considered a feast day in the church, and we take feasting seriously at Redeemer. We will be having a giant Easter brunch that runs concurrently with the worship services and into the early afternoon. We encourage you to both worship and feast that morning.
We need your help to put on a brunch of this magnitude and to help our friends and neighbors feel welcome. We certainly do not want dietary allergies/restrictions to prevent anyone from being able to join us for Easter Brunch. Especially if you have individuals in your household with dietary allergies/restrictions, we encourage you to consider bringing a dish (e.g. gluten-free, dairy-free) that they are able to eat. Our hope is enough dishes are brought that are friendly for those with dietary allergies/restrictions that there will be plenty of options for everyone! We need people to provide the following food items.
Ham (We will provide the ham. We just need you to warm it up and bring it on Easter Sunday.)
Meat and Egg Casserole
Veggie and Egg Casserole
Salad
Fruit Salad
Sweet Side
Savory Side
We will have disposable foil pans available for everyone to use for their dishes.
Are you able to provide one of these items? Sign up at the link below.
We will also need more volunteers than usual. Look for information about those needs in the coming weeks.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us at Jonathan Wallace.

Community Easter Egg Hunt with Redeemer Kids
Redeemer Kids is hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt for our friends and neighbors at MLK Park on Saturday, March 30 at 10 a m. Bring a bag or basket and meet us at the MLK Park pavilion. We'll have coffee and donuts, split into age groups, search for eggs, and have time to play on the playground with friends afterwards.
You can help us show hospitality and love to the kids in our community by purchasing plastic Easter eggs and/or individually packaged fun-size candy that fit inside. Drop off your donations on Sunday mornings in the labeled tubs near each entrance and Redeemer Kids check-in stations February 25-March 17. You can also use the Amazon Wishlist below to have your donations sent straight to the church.
If you'd like to volunteer to help with the event, please e-mail emily@redeemindy.org.
Good Friday Service
On Good Friday, we remember Christ's death on the cross as part of preparing for the joy of Easter. This year we will have our service from 6 to 7:15 pm.
We will provide childcare for children ages 0-Kindergarten. Please sign up in advance so we know how many sitters to provide.
We hope you will plan to join in this time of prayer, worship, and reflection as we consider all that Jesus did for us.
Holy Week Prayer Nights
Join us each night of Holy Week for a special time of prayer. This will hopefully be a time when we will learn more about Jesus and see things through a new lens leading up to Good Friday. It'll be family-friendly and intergenerational. We hope you can be there! Monday-Thursday evening, from 6–6:45 pm in the sanctuary.
Where To Go
We ask that you park in the parking lot behind Redeemer, on 15th St, and in the Alabama lot if needed. Please, use the main doors or the door on 16th St to enter the sanctuary.
Palm Sunday
Sunday is Palm Sunday, the day we remember Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It is a powerful way to enter Holy Week (the week leading up to Easter). We hope everyone can join us this Sunday for worship, our Good Friday Service, the community Easter Egg Hunt, and more!
Services will be at our regular times, 8:30 and 11 am.

Community Easter Egg Hunt with Redeemer Kids
Redeemer Kids will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt for our friends and neighbors at MLK Park on Saturday, April 8 at 10 am. You can help us show hospitality and love to the kids in our community by purchasing individually packaged fun-size candy that fit inside of Easter eggs. Drop off your donations on Sunday mornings in the labeled tubs near each entrance and Redeemer Kids check-in stations every Sunday until April 2.
