One of our Redeemer family special services each year is our Ash Wednesday Prayer service. Ash Wednesday is the first day of the season of Lent, a time of sober evaluation of our lives before God. For this reason, we gather and have a time of song, confession, and teaching, followed by a time of prayer. Our elders, pastors, and prayer team pray for each person who comes, in order to seek the Lord as we begin this season of devotion, and mark each forehead with ashes in the form of a cross: a sign showing our humility and creaturely nature before God. The service is from 6:30–8:30pm. Please enter through the Sanctuary doors on Delaware Street.
