We're excited to announce that we're offering two opportunities for you to gather with other Redeemer folks in your area this summer! The first is this month, June 29th, where we'll host four "neighborhood picnics" with food and yard games, based on where your community groups meet. If you're not in a community group, you're invited to join us based on which picnic is closest to you.
We have three hopes for these gatherings. First, they would be a place of post-pandemic reconnection. Second, they would be an opportunity to get to know the elders/church staff in your area. And third, these would be spaces to invite your non-Christian friends to catch a glimpse of gospel community. No one invited will be asked to pray, sing, or even hear Christian teaching. These gatherings are a "low bar" opportunity to see/belong to a group of people knit together by the gospel. We hope that by seeing/belonging to gospel community in this way over the Summer and Fall, many of these same neighbors will feel safe to join you for Christianity Explored in the Spring.
