Redeemer Youth will be traveling to Perfect North on January 21 for their annual Youth Ski Trip!
The cost is $70. This includes ski or snowboard rentals.
If you have your own equipment the cost will be $55.
Helmet rental comes with equipment rental but is $5 if you are bringing your own equipment or if you are tubing. In those cases, kids that would like a helmet would need to bring $5 to make the transaction on their own at the ski rental area.
If you are interested in just tubing the cost is $55. We recommend that everyone try skiing on this trip, as historically the majority of the group does ski and a few do both activities. It seems like it is always a good option to go into the trip trying both as we ask for everyone to stay in groups.
Please let me know if you are planning on bringing equipment as we will need to have space in vehicles.
Arrive at Redeemer at 7:15am to leave from Redeemer by 7:30am, getting us to Perfect North by 9:15am. Slope time is from 9:30am to 5pm. We will leave Perfect North by 5:30pm to arrive at Redeemer around 7pm.
Pack food for the day or bring money for the cafe at Perfect North. We will not be stopping for dinner on the way home so bring a packed dinner if you can't wait until we get home.
We have opened up chaperone spots to our youth leaders and will give them priority for driving and attending. However, every year we do need parent drivers. If you are able to drive a van or suburban and contribute gas, we are able to give parents $20 off the cost of the trip. At this point we can not confirm how many parent spots we will have available. As youth and leaders RSVP in the coming weeks, we will have a better idea.
