Emily loves partnering with parents to help kids at Redeemer develop a lifetime relationship with Jesus. She coordinates Sunday School for elementary aged kids, develops curriculum and resources for family discipleship, encourages volunteers, and helps plan and execute events that provide opportunities for families to connect with each other. Before moving to Indianapolis in 2021, Emily worked at a church in Columbia, Missouri for over a decade and taught in a public school setting. She holds a B.A. in Elementary and Middle School Education from Westminster College, an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri, and is currently working toward a Masters in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary.

Emily lives in the Fall Creek Neighborhood with her husband Jeremy and four young children. They enjoy reading on the porch swing, walking to nearby parks, baking and sharing meals with others, and playing board games.
