Ben Reed

Pastor of Operations

Ben works as the Pastor of Operations. He spends his days overseeing all of the behind-the-scenes infrastructure and helping the staff bring their ideas to life. This work requires him to have both a pastoral and operational perspective, which he loves. Ben first attended Redeemer in 2002 and came on staff in October of 2010. Before working at Redeemer, Ben worked as a financial aid counselor at a range of schools, including an art school, a trade school, and a state university. He received his MDiv from Bethel Seminary.

Ben, his wife Nikki, and their four daughters live in the Community Heights neighborhood on the eastside. A native of Indianapolis, you will find Ben continuing to explore all corners of the city, especially the city parks (Southeastway Park is a favorite.). A proud Eastsider, one of the things Ben loves about Redeemer is how it encourages him to love and care for his neighborhood.
